Holiday Mini ShoeBox Swap Part 2

Hi Stampers!
I am so sorry that I have taken so long to share projects with you but with school starting up I have been busy at work and then really exhausted when I would get home from being at work with 23 four -year- olds! I will try to post every couple of days and daily if possible, but I'll be starting school tomorrow and not sure how much homework I'll have to work on. But I promise I will try to be better about posting!

Okay, enough chatter, here are two more cards that we made at Yolie's ShoeBox Swap:

This card was made by Marcella Lau. She has a nice blog that you can check out HERE.

This card was made by Sandy Urbino.

I will try and post the recipes for both of these cards later this week. I hope you enjoyed and remember I will have more samples to share within the next few days. Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Stampin'!

Holiday Mini ShoeBox Swap Part 1

Hi Stampers!

I can't believe it's Friday already! How quickly this week has gone by. Luckily, I had today off because we worked hard this week cleaning and setting up the classroom for the return of all the children on Monday. Woohoo, it's going to be an interesting year! :o)

Today I'll be sharing two out of nine projects that we made last month at a Holiday Mini ShoeBox Swap my upline, Yolie held for us at her house. I couldn't stay the whole time but boy was it fun!

The above card is the one I made. If you don't know by now, my favorite holiday is Halloween. I own tons of Halloween sets many retired, that I will never part with because I just love them too much. I enjoy everything about Halloween, the colors, costumes, treats, decorations, etc. So of course I had to make a Halloween card using the NEW Sweet Centers Stamp Set and the NEW Halloween DSP, Cast-A-Spell. I actually saw this card on Becky Robert's site Inking Idaho, and knew right away that I wanted to CASE it. I decided not to use the leaves because it would be too time consuming for everyone to stamp and cut out so many leaves. Of course, Becky's card is a lot more detailed but I still love the way my card came out and hope you do too.

All Supplies Stampin' Up!
Stamps: Sweet Centers
Ink: Black Staz-On Ink
Paper: Perfect Plum, Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Cast-A-Spell Designer Series Paper
Accessories: Pumpkin Pie 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, 1" Circle Punch, 1-1/4" Circle Punch, 1-3/8" Circle Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Scallop Edge Punch, Paper Piercing Tool, Stampin' Dimensionals, Paper Snips

This next card was made by Maria Carillo, She CASED this card directly from the Holiday Mini. She used the NEW Halloween Set Twick or Tweet and coordinating Jumbo Stampin' Around Wheel, Haunting Hill. She also used the brand new Specialty DSP from the Holiday Mini, Night & Day. Isn't it cute? I love it!

Well, that's all for today stampers. Have a great Friday and Happy Stampin'!

Sassy Little Pixie

Hi Stampers!

I was able to get some stamping done during my break so I'll hopefully be able to share lots of things with you all for the next few days, before my students return to school on Monday. Today I'm sharing with you the invitation I did for my niece's 3rd Birthday.

As many of my friends and colleagues know, I love, LOVE Faeries and one little Pixie in particular: TINKERBELL! Well as it turns out, my little niece does too! So for her 3rd birthday my cousin asked me to make the invitations for her, and I immediately knew what I wanted to do. So without further ado, here's the card:

The card was actually CASED from Samantha Parisi. I fell in love with her card and thought it would be perfect for my niece's invitation. It was very easy to make, the only tedious part was punching and cutting all the pieces to make 40 individual Tinkerbells. So what do you think? You like?

Here is how I made this Sassy Little Pixie: The head, body and hair are made out of the 1″ Circle Punch. The bun on her head is the 3/4″ Circle Punch. Her dress is half of the 5-Petal Flower punch and the skirt is a Scallop Circle Punch folded in half. Her legs are Word Window punches (as are her shoes!) Lastly, her wings are again, the 5-Petal Flower punched from Vellum. The "Faux Embossed" background is made out of the flowers punched with the Boho Blossoms Punch. I think that's it! :o)

All Supplies Stampin' Up! (Unless otherwise indicated):
Stamps:
Ink:
Lovely Lilac
Paper: Lovely Lilac, Whisper White, Basic Black, Blush Blossom, Yo Yo Yellow, Gable Green, Vellum Cardstock
Accessories: 1" Circle Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Word Window Punch, 5-Petal Flower Punch, Boho Blossoms Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals, Green Ribbon (Non-Stampin' Up!), Green Gel Pen (Non-Stampin' Up!)

Have a great night and Happy Stampin'!

Tall Tales Birthday

Hi Stampers!

Today I'm sharing a birthday card I made for another nephew of mine who turned 2 this year. Isn't it cute? I used the brand NEW In Colors Crushed Curry and Soft Suede. The giraffe is from the NEW Stamp set Animal Stories and the Designer Series Paper is from the NEW coordinating Tall Tales DSP.

I stamped the giraffe image with the NEW In Color Ink, Crushed Curry on Whisper White Cardstock and layered it onto the NEW In Color Cardstock, Soft Suede. I popped that up with Stampin' Dimensionals over a strip of the Tall Tales DSP. Lastly, I stamped "Happy Birthday" from the All Holidays Stamp Set. That's it! Oh ya, the sketch is from the Sketch Challenge 109 from Stamping 411.
