Happy Monday Stampers!

Today I'm sharing the swap card I made for Convention this year. Unfortunately, I was only able to make 25 cards (last year I made 100!) due to time constraints. But I am determined to make some time next year to make more!

I was inspired to make this card after seeing a medium square card that was made by my up-upline Marcella. She makes beautiful cards and I always try to take my camera whenever I'm over her house to take pictures. You can check out her blog HERE if you'd like to see some of her work. I changed some of the color scheme and didn't use ribbon like she did for her card. I used most of the NEW In Colors for the card (inks and cardstock) and it was fast and easy to do. I am so in love with this NEW Circle Circus set. I wasn't sure about it at first but after seeing so many beautiful samples I fell in love with it! Hope you like it. :o)

Raspberry Birthday Wishes

Hi Stampers, Happy Spring Equinox! I am so excited that Spring is officially here. The flowers are blooming, the weather is warming up and the birds are singing. YAY!!

Today I'm sharing with you a Birthday card I had originally made for the UdderlyAwesome Demo Meeting at the Spaghetti Factory this month. Unfortunately, due to last minute changes in my schedule I was unable to attend. :o( Needless to say, I now have 30 of these cards that were supposed to be swapped and now I have no idea what to do with them!

Okay, enough with the chit chat and on to the card. It's another quick and simple card but I love it just the same. I was inspired by Angie Juda (love her projects!) when making this card. I used Whisper White Cardstock and the base measure 3x3. I layered a piece of Raspberry Tart Designer Series Paper to the front of it and then tied the Regal Rose 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon around the front of the card. I stamped the Happy Birthday image from the Wow Flowers set onto Whisper White Cardstock and punched it out with the 1-1/4" Circle Punch. This was then layered onto Rose Red Cardstock that was punched out with the Scallop Circle Punch. I also pierced a hole in each scallop with my Paper Piercing Tool. This was layered to the front of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. Lastly, I stamped the "Birthday Wishes" sentiment also from the Wow Flowers Set. C'est Voila! That's it! ;o)

Kaylie's Beach Pail

Good Evening Stampers, I'm back! I've had a crazy week or so which is why I have been late with my posts lately. I hope to catch up with all by tomorrow night. This past Saturday was Kaylie's (my niece) 2nd Birthday. It was a beach theme so I decorated some beach pails for her. These were filled with candy and party blowers and given out as the party favors. They weren't fancy by any means but still cute! I used ribbon bought at Michael's to tie around the pails, Martha Stewart Rub-ons also from Michael's and the pails were from Party City. I used the Tag from Stampin' Up! and the Layer-Ease to make a larger tag for the layer because I have not yet purchased the larger Stampin' Up! Tag *GASP*. I also used the Calendar Alphabet & Numbers set (which I won at Convention this year! WooHoo!!) to stamp "Kaylie's 2nd Bday" on the tags. The Scallop Circle Punch is layered with the Happy Birthday greeting from the Wow Flowers Set and layered with Dimensionals.
